Running for the 17th year in a row, the Blues From The Top festival is always a hit for fans of lovely blues, rock, and roots music. Combined with the wonderful background of the Colorado Mountains, the event makes for a serene musical experience you won’t want to miss.

Winter Park, Colorado
Winter Park is home to gorgeous mountain sides, ripe for casual walking or exciting bike rides. It’s also conveniently located by great rafting and fishing spots, giving any outdoor enthusiast many options to choose from. Last year’s annual event lasted two-days, each featuring a lineup of newer artists, capped off with a performance by a well-known headliner. Saturday featured Dragondeer, Honey Island Swamp Band, Southern Avenue, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, and was finished off by the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. The KWSB has released multiple albums, and is a popular blues group beloved by many.
Sunday also showcased a star, but started the day off with performances by Fuse Worship, Kara Grainger, the Nick Moss Band, Vintage Trouble, and finally a performance by the North Mississippi Allstars. The Allstars are made up of two brothers, Luther and Cody Dickinson. The pair have combined to create several albums, and are currently on on tour, playing at several venues across the United States. The duo were quite a hit last year, expect the Grand County Blues Society to work some more magic this year!
The festival is completely family friendly, so feel free to bring along any young kids you might have! With plenty of music, food, and vendors, everyone in the family can have a great time! Tickets will go on sale in Spring, be sure to book yours then and also take a look at lodging options while they’re still available. The festival can be found at the Rendezvous Event Center in Hideaway Park, located within Winter Park.
