Rendezvous Amenities Package: The perks of being a homeowner
By: Tyler Macleod
There is no denying that Rocky Mountain living comes with a plethora of perks. More specifically, life in Winter Park, Colorado and the surrounding Fraser Valley has no shortage of such – from world class skiing and mountain biking to endless hiking, climbing, fishing and more right out the front door, it truly is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. Coupled with stunning views, a taste of all four seasons and a truly family-friendly environment, there are few better places to call home than Grand County, Colorado.
And while mountain living can often times come with a steep price tag (all that outdoor gear isn’t cheap, right?) it doesn’t necessarily mean that everything has to cost you and your family an arm and a leg.
Which is why Rendezvous prides itself in providing homeowners with a chock-full amenities package at an affordable price.
While neighboring Colorado mountain towns – and even other communities in Grand County – charge ridiculously high Home Owners Association dues, Rendezvous does just the opposite. For less than $100 per month (yes, you read that right), homeowners can relax knowing that basic services such as snow and garbage removal are taken care of, while also remaining anxious to take advantage of the many other perks provided by their community.
Local Allegiant Management Company manages the Rendezvous HOA, ensuring that homeowners are provided a personalized, hometown service that echoes the community-oriented values of the Fraser Valley area. Local mountain biking and hiking trails are constantly maintained in the dry seasons, and cross-country trails are regularly groomed during the winter months. Mary’s Pond, a popular hangout for Rendezvous owners and families, is also kept well maintained and stocked with fish on a regular basis, meaning that the fish are always biting!
But these are just a few of the many perks included in the Rendezvous Amenities Package. During the winter months – which are quickly approaching – residents can take advantage of the Rendezvous Shuttle service to easily and comfortably travel to and from nearby Winter Park Resort. To make things even more convenient, the shuttle drops skiers off at Club Rendezvous, located at the resort’s base just steps away from the Zephyr chairlift.
But proximity to the lift is just the tip of the iceberg. Club Rendezvous itself is perhaps one of the premier benefits of being a homeowner. Located in the heart of the Winter Park Resort Village, Club Rendezvous offers a plethora of additional benefits to the die-hard skiers and their families at no additional cost. Enjoy everything from morning coffee service before you hit the trails, to hot chocolate and snacks waiting for you upon your return. With a comfortable living area complete with ample seating and a big screen TV, Club Rendezvous is the perfect place to take a break and let your toes warm up on those snowy, mid-winter powder days. Skiers will also be pleased to know that Club Rendezvous also offers daily use lockers for free storage, in addition to options for weekend and even seasonal ski storage as well.
But maybe you’re not much of a skier – for now at least. If summer is more your speed, then be sure to take advantage of your preferred status at nearby Grand Elk Golf Course located just up U.S. Highway 40 in Granby. Touted as one of “America’s Best New Courses” when it opened, Grand Elk is a British Isles-inspired course offering expansive views of the surrounding, rugged mountain terrain, while still suiting golfers of all ages and experience levels.
And to really show their appreciation for the residents, Rendezvous also hosts a number of events throughout the year including their annual Homeowner Summer Picnic each 4th of July Weekend, as well as the Homeowner Potluck event held at Club Rendezvous each December. It all makes for an inviting Rocky Mountain living experience full of the charm and close-knit personality of the surrounding Fraser Valley community.
