Rendezvous Product Spotlight: Moosehorn Cabins

By: Tyler Macleod

Rendezvous prides itself on offering an authentic Colorado living experience. Nestled in the heart of Fraser, just outside of Winter Park, this resort community is surrounded by a plethora of outdoor recreational opportunities all 12 months out of the year – offering access to everything from skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking in the winter months, to hiking, fitness programs, fly fishing and mountain biking during the warmer months. It truly is a mountain paradise that aims to please everyone from the couple looking for a prime vacation home, to the family looking for full-time living options.

And one of the many options that Rendezvous offers is the Moosehorn Cabin.

Also one of the most popular products in the Rendezvous community, the Moosehorn Cabins come in three distinct varieties: the Uphill 2-Story, the Downhill 2-Story and the Downhill Ranch. All three have distinguishing floor plans ensuring a perfect fit for all sizes of families. But no matter the option, all Moosehorn Cabins include amenities such as hardwood floors in main living areas and solid-surface countertops throughout. Each Moosehorn Cabin also includes covered decks to take advantage of the spectacular views seen from the large lot sites.

While being the smaller option of the three, the Downhill Ranch still boasts a 1,134 square foot main level, which features an open floor plan complete with kitchen, powder room and even a large, wrap-around deck (perfect for hanging out and taking in those beautiful Fraser Valley sunsets). The lower level includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry room and even a larger walk-in closet located in the master suite. To top it all off, the Downhill Ranch also has a two-car detached garage to protect vehicles (and toys, of course) from the snow and elements.

Next up is the Downhill 2-Story. This plan features 3,112 square feet with four bedrooms and a whopping five and a half bathrooms. There is even an option to turn the top floor loft into a fifth bedroom, offering ample space for the whole family (and perhaps even some friends, too!). Family living areas can be found on each of the three levels, in addition to a master suite on each level as well (that’s right, three master suites!). A fourth bedroom is located on the lower, walkout level, meaning everybody in the house gets his or her own little piece of privacy.

Rounding out the Moosehorn Cabin options is the Uphill 2-Story. Featuring a 2,442 square-foot layout, this plan offers three and a half bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a loft – which can also be converted into an additional bedroom if desired. Complete with red oak hardwood floors and quartz countertops, the Uphill 2-Story is Colorado mountain living at its finest. There is even a deep two-car garage included, which is sure to provide ample room for all that outdoor gear (and the cars, too, of course).

Regardless of plan, each of the three Moosehorn Cabins is sure to provide that authentic Colorado living experience with all the comforts (and then some) of home. Starting from the high $600s, your next home or vacation property is waiting for you to come and check out.
