The start of your winter activity will be quite hectic as the dog’s bark and howl as they anticipate the upcoming run. It’s almost like they are shouting out that they want you to pick them and to get started. The rider (you) sits in the basket of the toboggan sled as your guide drives the sled through the private property tour.

“Dogs instinctively like to run and pull and we are lucky they let us ride along for the adventure”. Also, our kennel is a mixture of rescued dogs (29 of them) and dogs that were born here (51). We always have dogs up for adoption and they really make amazing family pets with the right training, activity and understanding of the breed” Says owner Tracie Roper Martin

It’s a beautiful experience, as you are whisked through the snow in the Colorado Rockies.

What to wear on your Dog Sled ride:

  • Like most activities in the cold and snow, you’ll want to dress in layers and wear water-resistant clothing when possible.
